Room of Confusion - Dwarven Forge Game Tiles painted with all different color schemes drybrush and washes

Video of Room of Confusion

Video of Room of Confusion - including dark with LED lights- BTW - the LED lights are actually from IKEA - with the great IKEA name KALLT, and the LED candles were from oriental trading - clearance Halloween LED candles

Started out with the idea of a room with many colored tiles - painted up a bunch in Dwarven Forge Game Tiles  painted with all different color schemes drybrush and washes

painted up a bunch in Dwarven Forge Game Tiles  painted with all different color schemes - These are the washes - almost every tile I have seen was done in drybrushing, so thought I would try out some washed tiles - they turned out great.  3 different shades of green, and 3 browns.  They end up looking a lot like marble tiles.

painted up a bunch in Dwarven Forge Game Tiles  painted with all different color schemes - the drybrushes, all of them worked good, except - pink base with geen/yellow drybrush.... just did not like that one.  ;-)

black primer - gold, then  Pokorny Paints "Stone Edge" drybrush

closeup of the washed tiles

This turned out great, Pokorny Paints.olive whole tile then  "Stone Edge" drybrush

Room of Confusion - Dwarven Forge Game Tiles  painted with all different color schemes drybrush and washes.  The mixed tiles laid next to each other didn't look quite as good as I hoped, and I didn't finish the wall pieces yet, but a checkerboard pattern with the primed white /black wall pieces and the chamber of sorrows pieces looked great - the white and black pieces look so good - deciding if I want to just leave some of the walls like that - I know I certainly have enough extra wall pieces.....  laid out huge elementals in each corner - earth fire water air
