another epic battle vs SP

He was under the mistaken impression FW was overpowered, and was quite chatty, I think half the time was spent chatting, and half playing..... Like I told him, I'd be better off playing FF IS, but I like playing FW, IS is just there for the nora gen(and my neferi killing undead axeman).... But it certainly is not OP, I got destroyed last time I played FF FW with this WB..... course he had "mad skillz".

He let me get most of the fonts, but he had mostly flying guys, which gives my bg trouble, otherwise it would have been a lot quicker - he did manage to kill several LKs though.

ALso managed to successfully use the faultbreaker - he took a lot of hits while the LKs staid in back and pinged. He was somewhat blunted against flyers though.

so a win equals around 200 rank points at this level

now six straight wins, and broke rank 4000 - 3998 to be exact

against a tough UD team, who had a nefari messenger as a first turn draw. Nothing like a BZ and a Pincushion capping fonts on such a large map.... The master axeman almost won it by himself(he got every award, maybe its time he got a name). Even pulled off a summon axe before killing the other pincushion that was defending the close font.

Once again, cast exactly 1 spell, and didn't get to deploy Serkan.

first ranked match where I didn't lose anything!(bile zombies don't count. ;-)

Also first shrine I've killed in awhile in ranked. Nice guy, gave him some advice during the match once it was obvious I had it wrapped up. You gotta give him, he did no retreat, no surrender with quick turn times.

Another epic game

my IS/FW vs. his SP/UD

Started out bad for me, but eventually my valliant band clawed its way back.... He had tons of healing and kept retreating champs, so it was tough to kill them. He kept eviserating his own champs to kill the blight rings and axeman's fates I was putting on him. I didn't cast a spell the whole game!!!! That out to be some kind of award. I love FF FW, but its fun to not be nora starved all the time.

Lost a game, but made a new friend today

FF FW game started just like any other - oh boy someone ranked 5000+, maybe I can get a win......uh oh - SP/KF - good thing I have a skull of decay

looks good to start out with, then out pops an Angel(not SP), and it gets clay formed... hmm, maybe not a noobie_after_all



Still looks good, out comes Serkan - I don't think he's ever died in DoW, so this will be easy....


hmm, out comes every single x2 good exo spells and champs for KF/SP.... At least the UT is making lots of nora for me, awesome, and CoS gets 100 hp top start! Well lets see what insidious plan he hatched to take on my innocent little band of FW.

(insert screen cap I forgot to take of his Angels not quite dying, Cyclops Chief getting Grimlics mirror twice, x2 RE, etc, etc....)

Plus had some fun chat the whole time - he really was that good, estimate that his bg cost $4066.67.... Not sure how he's getting so many games in when the game took about 45 minutes and I was playing fast and not dragging it out other then the chatting, which I mostly typed on his turns.

Serkan is a beast!

Earned a victory today while my opponent owned all the fonts, and it was all thanks to Serkan. HE took out 2 lava monsters, 2 angels of pain, 2 trap spiders, etc, etc... wave after wave of UD beasties. Finally when the guys spider attacked Serkan, did 10 dmg, took 6 dmg and died, and then fully healed Sekan, it was gg! Honorable mention goes to Logorth the DH for detecting the spider who was sneaking up on the base and making it all possible.

OMG that match was crazy! he laid down so many traps I could hardly move. That plus he had these moga cannons that he kept maximizing and giving like 90 health. Every time I thought I had him worn down he would lay a fresh field of traps, unbelievable, the match lasted all night!

Chop suey / Elven ancestor deck was successful - played like an IS guy and only deployed 3 champs. He was bunching his guys and never destroyed the ancient elasari helm, so it got passed from champ to champ, alot.

The chop is nice, you know you only have to get an enemy down to 5 or 10 hp, and then the block does the rest.

FW/SP stealth successful in a quick win vs. KF/UD

thought he had me when he got up one font and let loose a grimlics mirror on his pumped up elven mage, but then used loot to take his elite blade and, then I hit the original for 32 damage with assasinate and and then hexed him too, then finished him with a blast from the lich king(range 8! baby) --- and he's a very expirienced player, so it wasn't a cheap win!

After a long drought Serkan and BZ finally won me a ranked match

faced a tough IS gang - nothing but lumbering for my opening draw, so spent no nora - brought out Serkan on the 2nd draw. He started with a DK, popped on the granite bracers, I thought it'd be over quick for me, but pulled thru:

Is it monster drop day on the single player maps? New FW champs versus hoppin mad.

Just playing thru hopping mad to try out the new FW champs,didn't get a Serkan though :-(

The other ones seems pretty good - I feel like UD, doing all that damage.

But finish the last map - and 2 exo frags drop!


Eternal Lich - pretty fun - good range - didn't have one die yet to see it respan
Ethereal Soldier - awesome new beater - we don't have to sit back building up a CoS, just run this guy out and start hittin and hexin
Utterdark Spectre - like the 1-2 range - everyone had a destealth button once he was out there that didn't seem to do anything. He did quite a bit of damage when all the frogs were stealthed
Ghost Pendant - like it - when my Spectral Emissary dropped it, it immediately cursed the elite frogs all around him

The most cp I ever earned for a normal battle in poxnora

battle went on for over 1:30 and he almost won it - was marching into my base, but he didn't kill the toll taker and it allowed me to creep back, and everntually get my guys over to his base and start beating on it before he finally surendered. 33 CP for my LK! And another 120 for my avatar
